CANMAKE MELTY NUDE LIPSTICKS

What's shakin' ya'll?  Happy Thursday from JP! (^___^)

I got the following lipsticks while hangin' with Ms. Yumeko about two weeks ago at Matsumoto Kiyoshi Drug Store.  I was goin' to just get one color but like I've said time and time again, you can never go wrong with havin' too many pink and nude lippies.  Especially inexpensive ones that have great consistency and color.  Below is a quick breakdown:

Brand:  Canmake

Price:  Approx. $8 USD.

Packaging:  Sleek, "rose steel" finish w/ "Melty Nude" embossed on the inner stick.

Consistency:  Creamy; mixture of matte + lustre 

Scent:  None (which I love)

Staying power:  8/10 in my book.  I was able to run around for about 4 hours without having to reapply.

I am definitely grabbin' a few of these and putting it in my, hoard box, so I can have it when I finally get back to the States!

FUJIYA IN SHIBUYA, JAPAN - FOOD

Hey ya'll.  (^__^)

On July 14th, I went to Shibuya to have lunch & semi-shop with Ms. Yumeko (BittenBefore).  As I have mentioned before, she is the greatest with planning and always has a ton of information on places to go!  She knows I'm down for whateva so we went to Fujiya Restaurant in Shibuya.  I just wanted to show ya'll the food pix.  Enjoy!

PHOTOGRAPHY - FLIGHT LINE SKY

I was on my way back from Tokyo and had to pick up my lil man at tha'man's work.  On our way back home, driving toward the back end of the flight line on NAF Atsugi, the sky was so beautiful.  I had to pull over and take the shot.  Enjoy.

JAPANESE MAKEUP - CRAYON

Happy Friday from JP ya'll!  Hope everyone is doin' well.  (^___^)

I had to swoop by my local supermarket to pick up some food/random things for the crib and I remembered that I had to pick up some of my favorite false eyelashes.  But of course, my eyes started to wander and I had to check out other cosmetic items.

I bought a few of these about two years ago as gifts for the holiday/contests but I have never tried them myself.  This brand is extremely inexpensive and I don't have great expectations; however, many inexpensive Japanese products are good quality.  It's just a different level of distribution out here in Japan.  The best way I could describe it is... they get the better, "Made in China" products, than we do in the States.

This brand is: Crayon.

From the products I've seen, this line carries: eyeshadow, blush, face powder, lip glosses and nail polish.  I picked up 2 blushes (they had three, one was white that I am assuming is for highlighting purposes but I wasn't interested in it at the moment), 2 eye shadows (they had a green & brown palette too) and 3 "new" nail polishes. 

Upon swatching the blushes & eye shadows, they were a bit powdery and that immediately reminded me of my old Coastal Scents 88 Palette.  It's not a bad powdery, it's just excess.  So it is soft and is the type of powder that is build-able.

I will be doing looks with them so you can see what they are capable of.  Cross your fingers!

HAPPY "THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE" DAY!

Even though I am super jealous about all of you back home that get to watch the midnight viewing of The Twilight Saga: ECLIPSE!  *STOMPS AWAY AND POUTS*, ima get mine soon!  Just help me pray to lord jeebus that I can hold out and NOT watch it online!  Ya'll need to help me with that... don't let me spoil it!  

It's JUNE 30th here in JP and you know I had to celebrate in my own way!  I'm sure my boyfriend Robert Pattinson and my jump-off Taylor Lautner (only because he's 18 now) don't mind... PUHAHAHA!!!

BARBIE MAKEUP, JAPAN - BROCHURE SCANS

I discovered this on my way home from class today but only had enough time to pick up a brochure.  I'll be checkin' out the line tomorrow and will probably pick up one or two items for the hell of it.  But from what I remember, they looked pretty small in size and the prices seem equivalent to Japan's makeup line, KATE.  I hope they are, at least, pigmented since they look like kiddie makeup.  If they aren't, ima just let it sit there and be cute. LOL
